Is it true that there will be important changes for the August 2008 Exam session? Yes. There are several important changes to the August 2008 exam session - here are the key changes:
1. The Ministry no longer provides Grade 12 exams at Post Secondary institutions - they must be written within a school district. For more information regarding the new exam schedule, visit: http://www.bced.gov.bc.ca/exams/august. Will students be able to write an exam in 2008/09 that matches the "old" curriculum? Students who have taken the "old" Science 10 curriculum will have the opportunity to write the "old" Science 10 exam for the 2008-09 school year. While not all the details have been worked out yet, one of the advantages of electronic exams is that we (Graduation Certification and e-Innovations Branch) can be more creative in our problem-solving.
